- Maida (all purpose flour) - 1 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 pinch
- Salt - 1 pinch

Preparing the batter
Preparing the dates
Open up the dates and take out its seeds. We will use 3 pieces of dates to make one fritter. Use a mortar and pestle to mash 3 pieces of dates together. Try and get a round shape for the mashed dates.
Heat a frying pan on medium flame with enough oil to deep fry the fritters. When the oil is hot, dip each of the fritters into the batter and drop them into the hot oil. You can fry more than one at a time, but just ensure the pan is not too crowded. Fry the fritters till they turn golden brown in color.
Enjoy the snack 🙂
